< Esuberanza

In march 2005 Ineke Lautenbach visits the Chamber of Commerce to register her company in projectmanagement She thinks that name, style and logo won't be a problem: she has a not so common family name with a coat of arms. But things turn out to be different the name is already used for a similar company and is not accepted for her company.

What next? A good name is not found easily, especially when it has to come up under pressure. After a few days of thinking the solutions comes from art: during the summer of 2004 she has seen something beautiful at a garden exposition. Why not choose a work of art and use the name as a business name?

She starts looking for the work of art and the artist. The owner of the garden immedetialy knows who she's talking about and soon she sits in the studio of John Spek in Ermelo, The Netherlands. The studio is filled with beautiful things and very affordable. The most beautiful one is on the coffetable. That will be the one!

The company name Exubérance is occupied, too, in a different branch. Then the Italian translation gives the solution and that's how the company gets it's name Esuberanza. The sculpture Exubérance is now shown on this website.

The name Esuberanza fits unexpectedly well. In work settings Ineke Lautenbach is particularly well organized, concise and to the point. The material the sculpture is made of, stainless steel, matches this very well. Her enthusiasm often shows after some time. In private settings she is more playful, friskier and her enthusiasm can be exuberant. She would like to show that part more in her work. This sculpture is the start: Esuberanza means exuberant, outgoing and the forms of the sculpture are just that.
